Membership in the Association for Career and Technical Education of Nebraska (ACTEN) is open to teachers, administrators and support staff.  Membership is also available to personnel in middle schools, high schools, area technology center, technical/community colleges, state colleges and universities.

ACTEN and its national affiliate, ACTE, are committed to the success of its individual members and to the promotion and support of career and technical education as a whole.   ACTEN advocates before the Nebraska Unicameral and U.S. Congress on issues important to career and technical education.  ACTEN partners with the Nebraska Department of Education to sponsor the annual Nebraska Career Education Conference.   ACTEN also provides professional development, networking, leadership skill development, and awards programs for its members.
